Council has completed the construction of footpath in Langley Street, Ringwood East.

As part of Council’s commitment to the construction of footpaths in Maroondah to improve pedestrian access and safety, footpath is proposed to be constructed in Langley Street, Ringwood East.

The works will include:

  • Construction of a concrete footpath along the western side of Langley Street between Knaith Road and Eastwood Primary School.
  • Reconstruction of several vehicle crossings along the extent of works to allow the concrete footpath to extend through the vehicle crossing at compliant grades.
  • Removal of three nature strip trees as required to construct the footpath due to their significant root systems impacting the current nature strip.
