National Recycling Week

Planet Ark’s National Recycling Week (NRW) will run from 11 to 17 November 2024.

During National Recycling Week, Planet Ark provide resources for everyone to learn how to recycle right, reduce waste and contamination and engage with positive sustainable actions at home, work and in the community.

Reducing waste not only keeps valuable materials out of landfill it also benefits the environment by reducing greenhouse gas emissions.

In Maroondah

There are a number of ways you can get involved in Maroondah as well. You can attend one of our trivia events, go to a special National Recycling Week themed Storytime, take our recycling quiz and play an interactive recycling sorting game. Recycling display at Realm

Visit our recycling display at Realm to learn more about what items are accepted in your recycling bin at home. The display will run from Monday 11 November to Thursday 21 November.
