Pharmacies

• Unused Epipens can be returned to pharmacies. Find out more about returning unwanted medicines
• Used Epipens must be placed into a sharps container.

Council drop off

• Council offers local residents a free disposal service for used hypodermic needles and syringes. These items are designated as biologically hazardous and require safe disposal
• Visit a Customer Service Centre to pick up a sharps container
• When the container has been filled with used syringes and needles, bring it back for replacement
