Residential parking permits – Non RMAC

A resident parking permit allows people to park in their own street where restrictions usually apply.

Who can apply?

There are different applications forms depending on whether you live in certain streets in the Ringwood Metropolitan Activity Centre or in other restricted streets in Maroondah.

If you live within the Ringwood MAC please apply at Residential and visitor parking permits - RMAC

Please note residents living in apartments, townhouses, flats or units are not entitled to a parking permit unless there is specific exemption in writing from Council. 

Permit conditions

Permits do not provide exemption from:

• restrictions that limit parking to less than 1 hour
• stopping in prohibited parking spaces or areas, including clearways and other areas in which parking of vehicles is prohibited under the Victorian Road Traffic Regulations.

Permit conditions may change at any time – those residents impacted will be advised in writing if this occurs.
