Council is committed to ensuring that Maroondah’s road infrastructure is maintained to a high standard to achieve safe, unrestricted travel, and to provide enhanced longevity for Maroondah's assets.

Our capital works program

In addition to routine maintenance activities such as pothole repairs, patching and crack-sealing, Council has budgetary allocations within its annual capital works program for major road works such as:

  • road resurfacing
  • road reconstruction
  • road construction
  • road widening
