Register of public roads

The maintenance of roads in Maroondah is shared between Council and Vic Roads.Council has responsibility for local and non-arterial roads.VicRoads looks after our major arterial roads.

The Register contains a comprehensive list of the public roads within Maroondah that Council has a statutory requirement to inspect, maintain and repair in accordance with our Road Management Plan.

We have also developed visual Geographical Information System (GIS) layers of our public roads, as listed in the Register, which provide a graphic representation of the roads, carparks, ROWs and shared paths.
