Maroondah Eco Gathering
Creating positive environmental change in your community.
Council hosted the Maroondah Eco Gathering, a sustainability symposium which brought together Maroondah residents who are motivated to create positive change in their communities.
The symposium aimed to contribute to a culture of empowered residents by creating an opportunity to:
- meet like-minded locals
- build community connections to create positive change
- generate local solutions to environmental challenges
- be inspired by and celebrate local changemakers
- learn about placemaking - making spaces into places.
