Construction is about to kick off at Yarrunga Community Centre to build a new outdoor deck.
The deck will expand the current room capacity to allow for outdoor events. The deck will face out towards the water, showing off the unique flora and fauna in the reserve.
Council has provided $250,000 to fund this project.
The works are scheduled to start in August 2024, subject to material and contractor availability.

A more detailed design plan will be provided closer to the construction date.
