Council has completed the construction of footpaths in Paxton Street in Ringwood.

As part of Council’s commitment to the construction of footpaths in Maroondah to improve pedestrian access and safety, footpath is proposed along the northern side of Paxton Street, Ringwood.

The works will include:

  • Reconstruction of the pair of kerb ramps at the Warrandyte Road & Mullum Mullum Road intersections.
  • Reconstruction of some vehicle crossings along the extent of works to allow the concrete footpath to extend through the vehicle crossing at compliant grades.
  • Removal of three trees of varying size as required to construct the footpath due to their significant root systems impacting the current nature strip.
