Works are occurring at Maroondah Federation Estate to upgrade the heating, ventilation and air conditioning system. These are essential upgrade works that will ensure the building remains comfortable and serviceable into the future.
Part of the venue will be closed during these works, which will start Tuesday 28 January and will finish on Monday 17 April 2025 subject to contractor and material availability.
These works will only affect the lifestyle section of the building which includes the Gallery, multipurpose meeting rooms and offices. The old school building will not be affected, and activities in this precinct will continue as usual during works.
During the works both Greenwood Ave and Ellison St will be utilised for moving equipment and materials.
On-site parking and pedestrian access will be limited during the works.
Works will occur from 7am to 4pm during weekdays only.
