As part of the Victorian Government's Level Crossing Removal Project, the level crossing at Dublin Road has been removed.

The Dublin Road level crossing in Ringwood East has been removed as part of the Victorian Level Crossing Removal Project. Ringwood East station is also being redeveloped as part of this project.

Construction works began in early 2023 and Dublin Road reopened to traffic in June, with Ringwood East station reopening in July 2024. Ancillary works are continuing.

Consultation

The Victorian Government's community consultation on the initial draft concept designs for the level crossing removal and station upgrade closed on 12 June 2022.
