Plan and property information

You can access a range of information about your property from Council and the State Government. 

  • Request building documents from Council
  • Access title information and alerts from the LANDATA website, such as:
  • pre-lodgement check
  • activity on a title or plan
  • property transaction alert service
  • dealing activity on a title
  • alerts on an unregistered and registered plans
  • issue search

 In most cases, to access information you must be the property owner or have the written consent of the owner to access documents.

Designated bushfire areas

Areas of Maroondah have been designated bushfire prone areas by the Minister for Planning. You need a site assessment to determine the Bushfire Attack Level (BAL) when applying for a building permit.

Building in areas liable to flooding

You are required to get consent for the construction of a building/structure on land that is designated as flood prone or liable to overland flows.

Property information and building approval particulars

We can provide you with land and property information or a Building Approval Particulars Certificate (Building Regulation 326).

Copies of plans and building documents

If you want a copy of or want to view building documents for a property you must be the current owner, or have written consent from the current owner.
