The non-refundable asset protection permit fee and refundable asset protection permit bond is based upon the type of works and is outlined in the table below.

Minor works

Major works
Demolition and / or single dwelling construction, swimming pool or spa, carport, shed, garage, dependent persons unit, extension, addition/alteration, earthworks
The fee to extend an Asset Protection Permit is charged at half the current applicable permit fee and must be paid before an Asset Protection Permit extension has been granted.
The Asset Protection Permit bond will be retained until the works are complete.
Council may require an additional bond be paid as part of a request to extend an Asset Protection Permit, if the extent of damage or nature of works justifies this.
