“FReeZA is a Victorian Government initiative that supports young Victorians to get involved in their community by planning and running drug, smoke and alcohol-free music and cultural events for other young people.”
Ever wanted to learn the skills required to run a live music gig? FReeZA is a free event management and personal development program for young people aged 15-25 that teaches you everything from booking bands, promo skills, setting up/packing down an event, operating AV equipment, working with cash and more!
The Bassline Productions crew, meet weekly to plan and run 6 live music and cultural events throughout the year (including the Maroondah Festival youth space). As part of the program you receive free training throughout the year and will leave the program with transferable life skills that you can take into any profession.

- Stuck in with Stuck Out (Instagram live stream)
- Beats to Get You on Your Feet (virtual 80s inspired workout)
- Ocean Grove headline show (Sold Out)
- Sulley's Scate Floor PIXAR immersive event
- Skate Competitions
- A Nightmare on Mt Dandenong Road (horror short film festival)
- Push Start Battle of the Band competition
- Retro Re-Lived (gaming lounge)
- Cinematic (short film festival)
- Void of Vision & Brooklyn
- Neon Dreams Dance Party
- Metal Fest
- Open Mic
- Connect art and cultural festival
- And more!
