Seniors Festival
Join us for the 2024 Maroondah Seniors Festival - an event acknowledging the contribution made by older people to our community, celebrating their achievements and promoting positive ageing and wellbeing.
The festival runs in conjunction with the Victorian Seniors Festival and coincides with International Day of Older Persons on 1 October.
The theme for 2024 is Explore, Engage, Evolve.
Seniors Transport Guide
Pick up a copy of Council’s Seniors Transport Guide for information on travel discounts for older people, using a Myki card, transport options and other helpful travel tips. Print copies of the booklet are available at Council’s customer service centres.

Eight days of free public transport
Victorian Seniors Card holders can explore Victoria with free public transport from Sunday 6 October to Sunday 13 October. Visit Seniors Online to learn more and find thousands of free and low-cost events all over Victoria.
