Road safety programs for seniors

Council provides safety information for older drivers, pedestrians and mobility device users to assist participants to stay independent, mobile, and safe.  

Safe Driver program

How long is the program: 1 hour

What is covered? Participants will gain an understanding of issues that impact safe driving as we age, including:

  • how to keep older drivers safe and mobile
  • road rules
  • potential impacts of medical conditions, disability and medication on safe driving, and
  • strategies for safe mobility.
