School immunisation consent
Parents/guardians will receive a link to an online consent portal via the Department of Health’s Central immunisation record program (CIRV) from their child’s school.
The ‘grant’ or ‘deny’ consent must be submitted 7 days prior to the scheduled school immunisation day. The ‘deny’ option lets us know that parents/guardians have seen the information and chosen for the child not to have the vaccine/s.
For more information see the Secondary School and Adolescent Immunisation Program run by Council’s immunisation service.
