About 

Local community and neighbourhood houses provide a focal point for community involvement. They offer opportunities to learn, share, grow, meet others and have fun.

There's a broad range of programs, courses and activities available at these centres. They are generally designed to be affordable, and to bring people together in a friendly, supportive environment.  

Course subjects

  • accredited training, adult education classes and life-long learning
  • emergency relief.

Health and wellbeing courses:

  • craft such as pottery and sewing
