Team Sports 4 All assists families who are experiencing financial and/or social hardship and as aresult are unable to afford to have their children involved in community team sport. After meeting the family TS4A arranges the registration into the chosen sport and pays for the fees and uniform costs but more importantly gives ongoing support via our volunteers to encourage long term participation in sport.
We assist children aged 5-18yrs and see first hand how community connection via teamsport can improve young people and their families lives.
We are now able to assist families in Maroondah but to enable us to do this we need the following:
Volunteers Information: Our volunteer sports mentors work directly with families to encourage long term participation in sports Time required - one day per month spread over the month No formal qualifications needed, however a current Volunteers Working with Children Check is required and a want to help vulnerable families in your own community
