Melbourne Eastern Ranges (MER) is a regional club of Special Olympics Australia, (SOA). Special Olympics Australia is part of a global sporting community for people with an intellectual disability and autism. Our year-round multi-sport program supports athletes with a range of capabilities. We provide an inclusive and supportive environment that supports athlete skill development, confidence and physical fitness.
Our sporting programs provide opportunities for weekly training sessions, interclub competitions, State Games and National Games.
The sports that are offered include: Swimming, Basketball, Ten Pin Bowling, Bocce, Tennis, Golf and Athletics.
Our sporting venues are scattered with Knox, Maroondah and Yarra Ranges community,
