Ringwood Jets Junior Football Club

Club Information

The Ringwood Jets Junior Football Club is a member of the Saturday Football League (SFL) and has been running for more than 50 years. The club has two teams (Under 10's and Under 12's) which consist of primary school aged children from Our Lady's Ringwood, Heathmont East, Great Ryrie Primary, Marlborough Primary, Eastwood Primary and other neighbouring schools....All are welcome! The league plays all of its competition games on Saturday which means that families are free to enjoy the rest of their weekend together. This is the only junior football league which does not play on Sundays. 

The Ringwood Jets is a club that's determined to provide an environment in which your child will thrive. Our coaches teach skills and give each player opportunities to grow and be the best they can be. From watching and coaching many young Jets, we've come to understand that not every kid is the next AFL superstar.....and nor do they all want to be. One thing that shines through though is their beaming smile when they get their first kick or their first goal! Sure it's a personal milestone, but it also develops their sense of belonging and fitting in to the team. It's priceless to watch and we think that's worthy of celebration. 
Our league doesn't promote "winning at all costs", but rather providing an environment for each player to achieve their personal best within a team and having a great time doing it.
