A fully staged musical production is usually performed once a year at the Karralyka Theatre in Ringwood Smaller concerts and variety shows held at various venues in Knox and Maroondah, Carols are performed in various hospitals during the Christmas season.

MDMS prides itself, not only on the quality of its performances, but on its community atmosphere. Many performers join the group to hone their theatrical skills, but also to have fun, meet new people and be part of a community.
