Maroondah Photographic Society

MPS has been operating for more than 65 years, and has developed into an intergenerational group ranging in age from 30's to late 70s. We promote and develop the art of photography by staging competitions and public exhibitions (digital and print), and endeavour to engage more closely with the wider community. Members of MPS are encouraged to donate their services as photographers to assist other community groups.

Our mission is to contribute to the health and vibrancy of the Maroondah community by providing an outlet for the people of Maroondah to enhance and develop their photographic skills, and to participate in the advancement of photography as both an art and a science.  MPS fosters a culture of inclusivity and embraces individual uniqueness in all its forms.

Visitors are most welcome to come to any meeting and see if MPS is right for them.

We meet at 7.30 pm on the first and third Wednesday of each month from February to November (inclusive), and the first Wednesday of December each year.
