Working bees are held the first Sunday of each month. Please refer to our website for location details. We are a friendly group of people of all ages who enjoy being outdoors and who have an interest in preserving and improving our local environment. Our focus is on weeding and replanting areas of significant indigenous bushland in the Heathmont area. New members are always welcome and no experience is necessary.
The biggest property we care for is called Uambi, which is located in Heathmont. Visitors are welcome to walk through this gorgeous and very peaceful 15 acre property which contains several very rare plant species and is home to many birds, butterflies, reptiles and insects. The main entrance to Uambi is located on Allens Rd, opposite the northern end of 'The Boulevard'. Signs along the walking trail point out areas and plants of interest.
