Aged and Disability Volunteer Opportunities - Social Inclusion & Wellbeing

The Home and Community Care (HACC) program includes planned activity groups and social support volunteers at Council’s Kerrabee Club located at 3-5 Louisa Street, Croydon.

These programs provide activities for isolated people, including the aged and those with disabilities, in order to enhance health and wellbeing. The activities provide respite for families or carers.

  • Planned Activity Groups is a weekly social and recreational program to support people to maintain their independence and connection with their community.
  • Social support programs provide a variety of activities for isolated, frail older people to enhance their health and well-being. Activities include day trips, visits to local libraries and shopping centres.
