Kindergarten Outreach Program - CALD
Our outreach program supports children and families from culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) backgrounds to enrol and participate in kindergarten. Bilingual staff are available to support families and interpreters are available if required.
The program supports children and families that have recently arrived in Australia:
- to enrol and participate in three and four-year-old Kindergarten and support transition to primary school.
- to engage in other early childhood support services.
Council works directly with families and services to support inclusion and ongoing participation in early childhood education.
