Builder/contractor parking permits

Temporary parking permits are available for builders and contractors in areas where there is time restricted parking. These permits only apply to areas where the builder or contractor is working (not outside their private residential property).

A maximum of 5 permits can be applied for per property.

Conditions

Permits provide exemption from timed parking restrictions that apply only in the nominated street, but do not provide exemption from:

  • restrictions that limit parking to less than one hour
  • prohibited parking spaces such as:
    • no stopping
    • clearways
    • loading zones
    • disabled parking
    • other prohibited areas in which parking of vehicles is prohibited under the Victorian Road Traffic Regulations.
