Maroondah Tennis Strategy 2022-2032

Tennis can be a competitive and social activity. It can be mixed gender, multigenerational and can be enjoyed in many different formats. Council would like to strengthen its partnership with Tennis Victoria and local tennis clubs to offer a wide range of opportunities for residents to enjoy tennis in the way that’s right for them.

The Strategy provides a framework for supporting clubs, improving accessibility to tennis, determining capital priorities, co-ordination of improved maintenance and increasing overall active participation. The document highlights the key considerations which may affect tennis participation and the sustainability of Maroondah tennis clubs, into the future.

Investing resources to support tennis club sustainability, improve infrastructure and support opportunities for social and casual play will be key priorities to ensure that tennis as a sport continues to thrive in Maroondah.
