Council is offering Maroondah residents the chance to complete free white card training.

This Construction Induction Training (White Card) course is provided at Swinburne’s Croydon campus.

At the end of the course you will have:

  • a nationally recognised certification
  • a basic awareness of common construction hazards and risks
  • a basic knowledge of occupational health and safety (OHS) legal responsibilities
  • a basic understanding of how OHS issues should be dealt with
  • the standards of behaviour and conduct expected of them while you are on construction sites.

The White Card is applicable to all sectors of the construction industry.

Time: 8am to 4pm 
Location: Swinburne University of Technology, Croydon Campus, 12-50 Norton Road, Croydon

Applications for white card training closes Thursday 1 June 2017.

You can download an application form or pick up a copy at one of Council’s Service Centres or a Swinburne campus. You can also request an application form be emailed to you by sending your information to diversity@maroondah.vic.gov.au
