Sporting Ovals & Pavilion Use

Maroondah City Council has 48 sporting ovals located throughout the municipality, catering for a wide array of local sporting interests including Australian Rules football, cricket, gridiron, rugby, soccer and baseball.

From premier facilities such as Jubilee Park, to junior facilities, including Lipscombe Park and Greenwood Oval, there are over 70 seasonal tenant groups who actively use Council sporting ovals each week for training and competition throughout the year.

Council also maintains 30 sporting pavilions, located within local parks and reserves.  A number of these pavilions are available for hire along with community halls that are administered by Council Committees of Management.
