Seniors Transport Guide

The Seniors Transport Guide is aimed at encouraging senior residents in Maroondah to consider a variety of transport options.

It features handy information and contact details for a range of options including:

  • metropolitan trains and buses
  • V/Line trains and coaches
  • taxi services
  • community transport services
  • riding a bicycle.

It also includes comprehensive information about the myki ticketing system; travel concessions; and transport options for Home and Community Care program consumers.

The Guide is for all senior residents who are either reducing their driving, or are reliant on alternate modes of transport.

We hope that by encouraging the use of different modes of transport, senior residents will be able to maintain their independence and stay connected with their family, friends and the community.

The Seniors Transport Guide is an initiative of the VicRoad’s Saferoad's Countermeasure Program and is jointly funded by VicRoads, Maroondah City Council and Ventura Bus Company.
