Preschools and Kindergartens

Starting Kindergarten is an important milestone in the lives of both you and your child. To decide if your child is ready to start kindergarten, talk to your Maternal and Child Health nurse about your child's health and well being.

The Maroondah Integrated Kindergarten Association (MIKA) provides a central enrolment system for both three and four year old programs.

There are currently 23 kindergartens use the MIKA Central Enrolment System.

Applications can now be made online through the MIKA website. Paper applications are available from local Maternal and Child Health Centres, kindergartens, Council offices and Service Centres.
