Dublin Road Rehabilitation

Between Mt Dandenong Road and Patterson Street

Council will be reconstructing the section of Dublin Road between Mt Dandenong Road and Patterson Street in Ringwood East due to the significant deterioration of the existing kerb and channel and road pavement.

Works will include:

  • reconstruction of the existing concrete kerb and channel on both sides of the road
  • reconstruction of vehicle crossovers
  • installation of new drainage infrastructure
  • road pavement reconstruction works
  • signage and line marking upgrades.

Council will also take this opportunity to improve the operation of Dublin Road by formalising two north bound traffic lanes (previously one wide lane), separating the parking lane on the east side from the traffic lane through a kerb outstand and extensions of the existing ‘No Stopping’ parking restrictions in various locations.

Works are expected to commence Wednesday 26 April 2017. It's anticipated that the works will be completed in approximately 14 weeks, subject to weather conditions.

To facilitate a safe working environment for the public and the contractors, it is necessary to implement appropriate traffic controls as works progress. It is anticipated that delays will occur throughout the works, however, the contractor will endeavour to minimise these delays as much as possible.
