Paying Animal Registration Renewals

 

Renewals of dog/cat registrations can be paid using the following methods:

Note: For new registrations, see Animal fees and registration.

Please note that Council-issued registration tags are for life and do not need to be replaced when you renew your registration.

Your Animal Registration Renewal Notice

If all details are correct

Make your payment using any of the methods listed below.

If any details are incorrect

Correct the information on the notice and return the notice with payment to Maroondah City Council:

Please do not pay by BPAY, via the phone or by Internet.

By mail

Make cheque payable to "Maroondah City Council". Detach the payment slip on your Animal Registration Renewal notice and return it with your cheque in the reusable envelope to:

Receipts will not be issued for payments by mail. Please do not pin or staple your cheque to the notice when returning the payment.

Postal delays will not be accepted as an excuse for late payment.

Internet

Pay your renewal online from your credit card or pre-registered* bank account.

*Registration is required for payments from cheque or savings accounts. Please complete an online registration form.  Registration is not required for credit card payments.

Post Office

Payments can be made at any Post Office in Australia.

Present your Animal Registration Renewal notice intact and make your payment by cash, cheque or EFTPOS. Credit card payments are not accepted.

By telephone

Pay by phone from your credit card or pre-registered* bank account.

Call 1300 900 765 to make payments.

Maroondah City Council accepts MasterCard and Visa.

The phone payment line is a 24-hour service. Calls are charged at the cost of a local call (mobiles extra).

*Registration is required for payments from cheque or savings accounts. Please complete an online registration form. You do not need to re-register for the phone payments if you are already registered for the internet service. Registration is not required for credit card payments

Payment can be made at any of Council's Service Centres by cash, cheque, credit card or EFTPOS

BPay

Contact your participating bank, credit union or building society to make payment directly from your cheque, credit card or savings account.

You will be required to enter the Biller Code and BPAY reference number as detailed on the front of your Animal Registration Renewal notice.
