Croydon Y space – volleyball, badminton

Enjoy a game of volleyball and badminton with friends and family.

Open multiuse court activity with a net for volleyball or badminton.

Free access, bookings required for equipment and court use.

Permanent table tennis table, BYO bats and balls.

Fitness Circuit - outdoor exercise stations

In April try out Maroondah’s three outdoor gyms installed at Cheong Park, Jubilee Park and Arrabri Community House. A free full body workout in 30 minutes, designed for participants 12 years and above.

Parkour Program at Croydon X Space

Overcome all physical and mental obstacles in your path by using your body and mind to run, climb, jump and vault - come and join us for a free trial session.

Who: 8-18 year olds
When: Thursday 6 April & Thursday 13 April, 4pm to 5pm
Where: X Space - Croydon Park, Mt. Dandenong Rd, Croydon (behind the skate park)

Outdoor yoga in the park

Inviting all residents to join us for outdoor yoga. Classes comprise of rhythmic, sequenced postures; static postures; breathing and meditation.

Session dates and time with instructor Jannin Jacob are detailed below:

  • Dates: Monday 3 April, Monday 10 April, Monday 24 April
  • Location: Croydon Park, Croydon X and Y Spaces , located in Croydon Park off Mt Dandenong Rd, Croydon, opposite Arndale Shopping Centre.
  • Wet weather back up: EV’s on Mt Dandenong Road, 3 and 10 April and Keystone Hall, Monday 24 April
  • Participants Arrive Time: 4.20pm
    Participants Start Time: 4.30pm
  • Cost: free

Participant requirements:

  • complete consent form (above) prior to starting
  • yoga mat
  • wear loose comfortable, stretch clothing
  • stay well hydrated prior to the class and please bring water bottle
  • if possible no food 1 to 2hrs prior.
